Pharmaceutical control

Microbiological monitoring of the air in facilities where pharmaceuticals, cosmetic, and medical devices are produced is essential and well established. In most countries, it is a regulatory requirement, and international standard have been published for bio contamination control in clean rooms and other controlled environments (ISO 14698-1/2) Airborne bacterial and fungal cells and spores may be present in droplets as bio aerosols, as very small individual particles that stay suspended for long periods or as larger clumps and aggregates that settle rapidly onto surfaces.

GPS™ provides qPCR tecnology and support for fast control indoor of microbial contamination at clean rooms (Class C), allowing nosocomial pathogens detection (including fungal spores) in a few hours.

Acinetobacter baumannii
Aspergillus niger
Burkholderia cepacia
